About us
Two brothers, one innovative concept.
We're Leon and Vincent Horst, two brothers from Berlin. It all started with a very simple question: why do we have to go to the kitchen every evening to boil water, just so it's warm in bed?
Vincent is a chemist and is responsible for everything to do with materials and safety: the filling that feels like water, and the silicone you'll love to touch. Leon is an aerospace engineer and brings precise engineering and high quality standards.
That's how a modern alternative to the classic hot water bottle came about: developed and patented in Germany, with innovative technology, high-quality materials and a contemporary design. Designed in Germany. The Vaermflasche has been around since December 2025, and today it keeps more than 10,000 people warm.
What matters to us
- The real feel. Heavy, soft, sloshing. Otherwise it wouldn't be a hot water bottle.
- Safety. No hot water, auto-off, overheating protection, CE.
- Honesty. We regularly ask our customers for their opinion and build their feedback in.
